I'd do it and throw in the pick. Can't keep being gun shy if a better player is there to be had.

I'm open to trades that make us better, but I'm not sure about that. Favors has been mediocre and inconsistent this season. He's coming off an injury, so maybe he's just recovering slowly. But he's also shown little improvement since coming back this year. If this is the new normal for him, I'd pass. And if the Jazz were willing to trade him, they'd probably be doing it because they suspect this might be the new normal for Favors. That's a smart front office, and they'd know better than us because he's on their team. So trades like this give me pause.

Or this is a down season for him. At his peak we'd have to deal one of the big three to get him. As a free agent, he'd be the big target to sign. And all (in theory) that this would cost you is a player ideally we don't want starting alongside Towns.
Big picture, there isn't a big in this draft outside of maybe Markannen who could contribute from day 1 and there isn't a player available that warrants trading our draft pick. This summer's the last summer this team can outwardly infuse a ton of talent onto this team before deals have to be made to the guys already here. If not him, then who?

Yay, more there must be something wrong with him if his team is willing to trade him takes. That's getting just as tired a take as all the negative Wiggins and Ricky takes. Sometimes guys just don't fit your team anymore. Their team is a lot different today than when they got him in the D Will trade years ago. That doesn't make him a bad player or that there is something wrong with him just because he is on the block.
