Well you know the league wants the Lakers, Knicks, Celtics and Spurs to get a real good look at our youngster so they can make a run at them down the road . Might as well make the scouting as easy as possible for them.
Maybe the league sees Towns as the perfect player to showcase to the fans be cuz he's real down to earth and likeable. He's one of the few potential next generation stars.
