I wonder if he alters this in the regular season by keeping a starter or two always in the game. For now, it appears he's trying to build as much chemistry as possible among the two 5-man units, but at some point he has to mix and match a bit more. I do like subbing out for Rubio and Dieng early though.

Whoa...Tyus, Payne and Hill check in. I wonder if Thibs didn't like Dunn missing all five of the shots he jacked up.

Wish I could be watching Zach tonight...21 points already on 9-10

Sounds like Tyus was solid on offense, but I also noticed Kemba Walker really went off when Tyus was guarding him. He's going to struggle to get minutes if he can't shore up his defense.

Defense will always be an issue for Tyus. He's sort of the anti-Dunn in that he is very poised and crafty offensively, making few turnovers and nifty plays, whereas Dunn is a lot more aggressive and loose at times plus excels defensively.

Would it be an overreaction to want to change my most improved player vote to anybody but Wiggins?

I think it would be an overreaction to make any decision based on our 2nd untelevised preseason game.

Looks like LaVine was the only one who showed up tonight. Thibs can't be happy with what he saw tonight.

But he had a -8, so that means he sucked, right?

Hard to know without having seen it. Some nights shots just won't go down and other than LaVine, we had a ton of guys miss a ton of shots. Were there a lot of poor, contested shots where an extra pass would have been the better choice or were they mostly good shots that just didn't go in? Bazz and Dunn jacking up 25 shots between them seems like a little much! I can't believe all of those were good shots.....

Defensively, we seemed OK overall, but allowed Charlotte big 2nd and 3rd quarters.

Did anyone get hurt? If not, the game was a success.
