Our starters have been fine. Its the bench who have let Dallas go on a run. Bazz needs to go.

We need a veteran backup point guard in the worst way. We consistently beat teams when Rubio's in the game. We lose games when he's off the floor. That's crushing.

The bench provided nothing. Rubio's shooting is off again while dieng and Lavine has slow down of late.

Wiggins with a great game tonight. He is definitely the 2nd most talented player on the team outside of towns.

Speaking of towns, near triple double with 11/21/9/3! But he had 6tos as well. Still nice to see him starting to show and develop his passing.

I haven't seen Tim feel so negatively about someone/something this much in a while. Tim what was your old less than positive alter ego screen name?

Punk?!?

I just had to suffer through another whiny post game press conference from Smitch where he just bitches and moans about the problems that come with youth. And I understand and expect the many inconsistencies that come with youth. But I have hard time believing that better defensive and rebounding schemes wouldn't produce better results despite the youth.

Call me crazy, but it sure looked like Towns was putting his quest for a triple double above all else for the last few minutes.

Then again, he's young and it's loss #52, so I can see why that happens.

I was looking for him to do that too, but thankfully I didn't see him sell out for assists. I thought his style of play was relatively the same. Take the very last possession of the game for instance. If he gave a shit about the stat, why not go hunting for the inbounds to give it to someone for a last shot and get that assist? He didn't even make an effort towards the inbound.

I guess we disagree. I thought he was passing up several good looks searching for the assist.

No big deal. That we disagree... or if he really was hunting for that assist (I swore I could hear him yell "shoot it" at one point when Dieng got the ball from him)... it's a "meaningless" late season game and he's been a wonderful find for this franchise.

Yeah, I also saw Towns pushing some passes to guys in the last few minutes there where he should have just taken the shot. It wouldn't have made a difference in the game, but it looked a little fishy. I also remember the pass to Dieng (who was covered) and then hearing somebody yell "shoot it," though I don't know if it was Towns. Our announcers were talking about it way too much in my opinion, even as they were saying it shouldn't be a big deal--which it shouldn't. He had a great game (again), and he's not a selfish guy like Love was, but I hope I was misinterpreting those passes at the end. The dude's a stud, and only needs to care about winning and getting better. I wish we could forget the stats and records and just enjoy watching the kid play. I'm actually tired of hearing about stats and records. It just sounds kind of superficial. I'd rather watch some highlights. All you need to know that the kid is great is what he shows us with our eyes almost every night. It's such a pleasure having this guy on our team.
