Yep. No long 2's, that's why Milt/Sam won't like him. He's too smart. He's a got a decent left too. Looked like he was laxing on D, but with their lead, could have been conserving energy.

I'm not sure what to make of his D. He definitely takes some plays off on that side of the floor. What's also interesting is he sometimes takes plays off on offense. Some sets they run all he does is rest in the corner and they run 2-man action with him simply spacing the floor.

Right, however I did notice he was looking for his man to box out the times I saw him. But that shot is just awesome, quick pull up, nice drive and step back too.

I have no problem with a terrific 3 point shooter sitting behind the line spacing for others. What I have liked in the little I have seen him play is his ability to pick spots not forcing the issue. That's a good thing when you get to the next level and playing against and with more talented players.

Noticed that too Monster. If he sees an opening in the lane he takes it before forcing a bad 3.

He is having an incredible tourney. Anyone know his statline? I have not been a Buddy fan, but he not backing down from anyone.

It doesn't have all the stats you are probably looking for but an interesting article. Averaging over 29ppg so far in the tourney.

I don't see how he wouldn't The production on a top team in the country. If he was freshman and 19 I don't see how he doesn't go 1st. Assuming also that he came into this year as a top 20 talent for his class.

I don't care if he was a freshman walk on at this point he is averaging over 25ppg with an efficiency of somewhere around 50-40-90 shooting club. That would be insane as a freshman and based on the fact that Curry is tearing up the league right now I think Buddy would be #1 but there would be plenty to talk about because Ingram and Simmons are both pretty nice prospects also.

Ingram's a two-way 6'9" small forward with a 7'0"+ wingspan, has a handle like a guard and is a knockdown shooter. Those are rare. He's getting the Durant comparison because guys with that build don't often have that skill set.

Simmons is a 6'10 power forward with guard-like passing ability, a surpreme handle that is not often found by bigs, an efficient volume scorer and above average rebounder. He's being compared to guys like LeBron James because that package isn't often found. (I think he's more Blake Griffin than LeBron, but you get the point.)

Hield would no doubt solidify himself as a top notch prospect and in consideration for the top overall pick if he was 19-years old and setting the college game on fire like he has this year, but he does not beat out the two others I talked about already, in my opinion. The other two bring more versatility to their game and a more physically imposing body with them.

It's a very interesting hypothetical considering how polished Buddy is right now (and was that finished product both in his ability to play even defensively and his physical body as a 19 year old freshman) but if you were a team sitting there at #3 pick in the draft in this scenario you would have to be feeling really good. :)

The funny thing is... Jamal Murray is going to be there for some team at No. 3 and he's been damn good this year himself. He's current Buddy-lite at age 19 with room to improve. Still a really attractive option.
