I think he stepped back for Flip... A nice long 2-pointer!

Definitely a change in how we are defending P&R. The big is staying with the ball handler longer.

Tyus with some nice minutes. But I sure wish Dieng and Shabazz would look like 3rd year players... :(

LOL!

Towns must of heard Q say he's not gonna be much of a shot blocker in this league... Towns has been pretty damn impressive for a rookie thus far in the preseason.

It's always going to be topic when we cut loose a #1 pick by buying him out. From what I've seen of Payne, I would say we bought out the wrong guy.

So far this preseason I have been impressed with Tyus, Belly and Towns. All 3 players have looked much sharper than I would have expected for rookies. We will see if they can continue their play into the regular season.

Miller and Prince still got some game in them.

Well, at least the Wolves had a chance to play some crunch time minutes...

Looking forward to a more "regular" lineup in the next game (I assume).

Great to get a "W", especially since we had to claw our way back against a pretty well coached Toronto team from being 15 points down at one point.

- Fun fact (and encouraging): The Wolves have averaged 20 3-point attempts per game in four pre-season games. Flip's squad averaged 15 3-point attempts per game last year. Trending up! Kudos to Mitchell for giving these guys a green light. Hell, even Dieng made an open 3 tonight! Flip would have probably benched him for taking that shot.

- Tyus Jones is impressing me. Granted, guarding a fellow rookie PG instead of Russell Westbrook or Kyle Lowry made life easier for him, but offensively, he's been excelling.

- Between Tyus Jones' b-ball IQ at the point and Rudez's 3-point shot, the team is making the right call to eventually let LoBrow go. Rudez even put the ball on the floor tonight and got all the way to the rim for a layup.

- Towns needs to learn to stay down on defense while guarding on the perimeter. He's a smart kid who will get this eventually, but like a lot of rookie bigs, he leaves his feet too damn much and then gets totally out of position. That being said, he had a solid outing.

- LaVine and 'Bazz have yet to make much of a positive impact yet this preseason.

- Bjelica is the real deal. I love the fact he either seeks to shoot the 3 or get all the way to the bucket - none of this inefficient 'tweener B.S. He's an excellent drive-and-kick passer.

- Wiggins struggled again with his mid-range post game and jumper, but did knock down two nice catch-and-shoot 3's. He also played terrific defense on DeRozan.

- The Jones/LaVine/Rudez/Bjelica/Dieng lineup came from behind and closed the game out, slamming the door pretty hard behind them. Nice job.
