I do. I think trading Zach would be a mistake. I'd give them Dieng and Bazz for Noel and one of their later picks.

In a league that revolves more and more around the guards the idea of trading Zach with the progress he's been showing this season for another big, an offensively challenged big at that seem foolish. Is there another Wolves player that has made more progress than Zach from last year to this? His ceiling is too damn high for me to give up on him already, even for Noel.

Payne has 2nd round value around the league. And I don't think Bazz would be enough for Noel. I'd do the deal, but they wouldn't.
Sixers are interested in PG/SG help. That's why LaVine was thrown in my proposal.

If that's all you think of Noel, then I'm not surprised you shot the deal down so quickly. Kid has the chops to be a defensive star. LaVine could be an offensive star.

I don't think Noel is chopped liver by any means, I just think looking at the Wolves roster they're lacking a dynamic guard and Lavine has the potential to be that. Lavine has also shown growth that suggests he could fulfill much of his potential. I guess short of a plan to replace Lavine's potential I don't like the trade.
Again, I'm probably the least knowledgeable person on this board, so take it for what it's worth!

Martin + Bazz for Griffin?? I haven't been keeping tabs, but are they considering trading him after his off the court scuffle?

Probably not, though you'll hear rumors about Melo/Blake an Love/Griffin swaps. Also, Martin and Bazz don't get you Noel let alone Griffin.

I wouldn't trade lavine, he is showing he could be a star and can the wolves play Noel and towns together in the small ball era I don't think so
