I would trade for Okafor if 76ers would do it or I would hope w get Heild. (Assuming Bender/Ingram/Simmons are gone)

If Buddy is not there I would start thinking of trading down would ask the nuggets for WCS and 15th or the bulls for 14th and Portis.

Bleed, Noel is a far better fit than Okafor. Agree with the Hield take though.

If we trade down I really want Deyonte Davis. He brings what we need. Yes he is raw, but the skills are there. Sabonis is another really good trade down target. If we trade down we need to make sure we get a nice young vet in return. Late first round picks and second round picks are risky/bad bets.

I don't see them trading Noel at this point.

Actually the chatter about the 6ers says otherwise. They are looking to trade Noel rather than Okafor. I don't think Noel has enough value for a top 10 pick though. Noel is abysmal offensively, doesn't rebound all that well, and is entering the last year of his rookie contract. I personally don't want to trade for him because of the contract issue. Some team will pay him a ton based on his rim-protection/switching ability on defense and I wouldn't want to match it. #5 for a Noel rental is not worth it. If you want to pay big money for an elite defensive player, then you should just pay Biyombo this offseason and keep the pick. At least Biyombo is also an elite rebounder on top of being an elite defender.

The Number 5 could be of huge value, perhaps not to us...but for a team like Philly who could get Dunn or Murray it would be. I agree with most on here and not others...but Deng is a long shot, Ricky does have a injury history, shooting is a premium we need to afford and defense is a mindset that needs to be Thibs biggest correction on a team level.

If we draft Dunn, Murray what happens to Jones? I like the kid but does a 5 in Dunn look redundant. "I love Dunns potential"

If we draft Heild what happens to LaVine? Does top 5 pick equal a bench player? "I feel Buddy is a 6 man type player for his career"

If we trade back, what team is willing to return assets that we can immediately plug in as partial starter plus pick?

I still feel PHX is the team to work with and guys like Warren would be my objective. Trading an asset like Bazz or throwing in Payne plus our #5 should get us something impressive.

Late round guys or early second I hope for. Brice Johnson, Maker, McCaw, Bentil are my guys.

Chemistry is key, but the organization in my opinion needs to continue to get depth and youth who are willing to read into Thibs system first and foremost. Vets on last contracts or past there prime don't equate for me.

If you trade down you gotta make that team pay a premium for it. I like guys further down in the draft but I don't want to drop all the way down to 16 unless we are getting something good like a future pick or a legit impact player or pretty interesting you player out of it. It will be interesting to see what happens since this draft talent is kinda tough to gauge for a chunk of guys and a couple teams have a bunch of picks.
