Nice. To me Towns should be the pick and it has nothing to do with shooting. It has everything to do with shot blocking and rebounding. If it were up to offense I would pick Okafor in a heartbeat. Towns is the better overall player and he fills a huge hole defensively and rebounding for us.

That being said Okafor and Russell are fine by me as well. That's why I'm an advocate of holding whoever the Sixers want hostage.

If Myers Leonard and Channing Frye can become good 3 point shooters, KAT certainly can.

Towns looks 25 lbs lighter in that video than he did at Kentucky. Are we sure after the bulk up especially in his arms he's just going to have the same jumpshot? There's a reason the preferred method of bulking up in the NBA is wiry strength. And there's a reason a guy like Dwight struggles with FT shooting. Towns solved the FT shooting, but that's one of the easiest shots in the game. It will be interesting to see if the shot is still there for the rest of his game.

I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to be a Knick before the lottery process, considering that's his hometown team and likely the team he rooted for growing up. That's a natural thing, though. Julius Randle wanted to play for the Lakers because he was a fan of them. Tyus Jones probably wants to play for the Wolves because he's a fan of them as well.

The reason I posted the link was just to show respect to an intelligent kid who would be thankful to play for any team in the NBA, despite what other reports suggest.

You compared Towns shooting the basketball to Dwight Howard? There has to be a much better comparison to make your point. The reason Howard sucks at FTs and shooting general is he sucks at it and at this point it's not going to change. It doesn't have anything to do with his bulk it's mechanics and natural talent which he lacks. The bulkiest guy on the Wolves is Pek and he is a pretty good FT shooter.
