I think that New York could potentially take Okafor #1 because he would be such a great fit for the triangle. Otherwise he should be all ours. Woohoo!!

The conspiracy theorist inside me says the order will go

1. Lakers
2. Knicks
3. Wolves

I would LOVE it if the Lakers fell out of the top 5 and had to forefit their pick to the Sixers. LOVE IT!

Towns makes more sense for us than Okafor due to defense. Will be happy with either one or Russell.

I think the Knicks or Lakers will get the first pick.

The 76ers could have a great night if the Lakers fall to 6 and the Heat move out of the top 10 and if they get a top 3 pick.

Remember when the Wolves dumped Al Jefferson (without really giving him a shot next to Kevin Love)? Well, why not try it again?

[Note: I really do think Okafor will be better than Jefferson. And, I bet Saunders loves him. But creating a team around an offensive center who needs touches to be effective because he struggles defensively and a bunch of long 2 point shooters... in 2015? I'm worried. I think he'll only embolden Saunders to stay in the previous decade.]

A great low post scorer can really open things up for guys on the perimeter.

You need three-point shooters for that to be a good strategy, though.

And it would help if the big could play rim protecting defense.

I agree, but Okafor does help.

The other problem with Okafor is that we have two other scorers on the team - Wiggins and Shabazz - that prefer to work in the mid to low-post area. It's going to start getting crowded down there!

I honestly don't have a horse in this race. If you forced me to rank who I want, I'd go Towns first and then anguish over Okafor and Russell in that second slot. But in the end, I'll be happy if we end up with any of the three. It's if we end up with that fourth pick that I start getting a little nervous.

It sounds a little crazy, but I think there are bigger things to worry about with this squad, the first being health; the second being coaching; and the third being the development of the young guys we already have. This year's pick won't move the needle much if we can't get better in the other three areas.

Sounds like we are already behind in the count!

What's the definition of insanity?

Having a player that is so good at something that it forces our offense to adjust is a good problem to have. Especially when the status quo is the worst offense in the league. Wiggins can play out of the post but there are a variety of sets where he can be effective with a top notch low post player, Shabazz too. Okafor immediately makes our offense better by moving everyone to a more natural place on the floor.
