When you have 2 players that can combined be top 5 in points, rebounds, assists, and steals in Love and Rubio, that's a duo few teams can rival. That combo can bring this team to prominence.

We may not match the #1 and #2 of OKC but I'd give us the nod on 3,4,5. Here's my ranks

Durant
Love
Westbrook
Rubio
PEK
DWill
Ibaka
KMart
Sefalosha
Brewer
Barea

Ibaka looked like crap last night. I'd say DWill played a better game than Serg

I think this team has the potential to be a second tier playoff team.
Pek, Love and Ricky can score some points.
Brewer and Ricky are top notch on defense.
The overall system that Adelman uses gets the best out of the high basketball IQs of a lot of our players.

We DONT have the top tier athletic ablilitty that the heat have in James, Durant and Rose.

Can we play with the top teams in the playoffs? Dont know, but it could be interesting to see....

Watch out for the Wolves in the second half of the season. The first half will be molding the pieces together. The second half we roll!!! Fifth seed or better. everyone seems to judge elite by the number of points scored. I submit that Rubio and Love are in the elite category by the sheer number of things that they do to impact the game. If Rubio can shoot 46% look out world

despite Stein going cuddly on the wolves, I still think the wolves are still one step behind the top playoff teams of the West. I will refrain from getting giddy until the wolves have played at least 20 games.

Tonight will be interesting to see if the wolves play down to the cavs level or if they are able to put them out of their misery early.
