He also said when it comes to his defensive approach, he might not take quite as many chances as he did last season because he doesn't have rim-protectors like JaVale McGee behind him. The mentality's there. Really think he's more than accepting that "lead defender" type role. One thing you'll never question about him is his effort. That's for damn sure.
