Reading this thread I think JJ is a big wildcard for this team in a different way than Williams who is the biggest one. JJ has proven to be a legit rotation player in this league that can produce results. The question is where will he play and what type of guy will he be. Will he be a guy thats ball dominate like he was with the Wolves or will he be less so and be more efficient shooting the ball like he was with Dallas. I think he could be very effective as a bench player for this team, but its going to be interesting to see how many minutes he can carve out and how everyone fits together.
Cool mentioned JJ could get dealt if he isn't getting minutes. I think JJ is a guy that has value around the league and also think he could get dealt at some point this year depending on how things shake out. Maybe Shved steps up his game and makes JJ expendable. Maybe Brown makes the team and becomes the next Ramon Sessions type player. Who knows, but I bet there will be teams interested in JJ when the trading deadline comes around.
