Ahh, so this is what it feels like to be painted into a corner once again.
This trade amounts to throwing crap at the wall and seeing if anything sticks. How does this make them better next year which at this point is pretty much all that matters in the Love era? Prince as an expiring may get you something this time next year, but by then I suspect they'll already be working on the Love trade so it won't matter. Allen is a nice piece next to a scoring 1 and 3, next to Rubio and Prince/Brewer not so much.
The only trades Flip should be looking for are ones that open up cap room for a run at a real professional basketball player this offseason. This is depressing, once again situated with one superstar and a couple nice pieces we're again trying to use band aides to put together a winner. If I were KG I would be calling Love and advising him to look for greener pastures.
