So since I started this thread, the Wolves have garnered an anti-klunker, Dallas has bombed with two klunkers, Denver has netted a klunker, and Memphis is on a tear with two anti-klunkers!

The KOM standings have Phoenix and Dallas nabbing the 7th & 8th seeds with 50 wins each. Memphis and Minnesota finish out of the playoffs with 48 wins each, and Denver with 47 wins. Houston and Golden State are tied with 53 wins each for 5th & 6th.

Friday's game with Memphis is HUGE. The Wolves need to hold serve, or it becomes 2-game swing in the KOM standings.

Tim, If things play out the way you describe them, this has to be unprecedented, right? 50 wins to nab the 8th seed!?! That's simply incredible.

Thanks for the update, Tim. I like the trends...Dallas with 2 klunkers, us with an anti-klunker. If Dallas continues to play so poorly, you may have to recalibrate the KOM.

LST - I'll recalibrate the KOM after the all-star break, taking into account who is playing well and who is not.

Q - You made me go check it out (although not too far back!). The 8th seed had 50 wins '07-08 and '09-10. And the strike shortened season in '11-12 had the 8th seed on pace for 49 wins...

that is crazy .. they have just beaten Pacers at Indiana and it was their 4th match in 5 days on a road trip .. wtf :-D

And fuck the Pacers for not being able to beat them. 0-2 against Phoenix. Really??
