You remember that story at the beginning of last year about Minneapolis black leaders accusing Kahn of deliberately building a white team? I guess they were right after all. Flip traded away our most athletic black guy.

If your pg can't score with anything approaching league-average competency, that is a serious limiting factor for your offense. You need a very specially built roster to compensate for that weakness, and such a roster isn't cheap or easy to assemble. Essentially, everyone else on the floor needs to be a shooter. You can't have even one "Brewer" in there messing up your spacing.

You also need at least one other guy who can handle or your offense becomes extremely predictable and even one-dimensional. If you moved Kevin Martin to SF and picked up a legit shot creator/maker at SG, you might be able to hide Ricky's shooting. But those players (assuming they're big enough to guard opposing SGs) are traditionally 8-12 million in free agency. But what if the guy can distribute some? Isn't he suddenly a better fit than Rubio?

You're being harsh. So a guy has 4 points (total) in the 4th quarters and OTs of 11 games decided by 4 points or less... and you think his inability to score could be a problem.

You're mean.

Have the wolves ever drafted a guy so high that gets so much patience from its fan base? Usually theres bitterness and apathy towards under performers of his draft stature. Why so much coddling for this guy?

I think back to high draft picks in years past. In year three we knew what we had in the player. And after year three that player was gone or his name was Kevin. Yet most think Ricky is worth keeping. Not only worth keeping, but excuses are made for him. The type of excuses that werent made prior to this season. But now hes not successful becuz there's no athletic players around him. Well , there wasnt those players last year or prior. Why is that a viable excuse now?

Good point. Why isn't Ricky getting the Dwill/Shabazz treatment?

Great example, read the GDT. People are clamoring for Ricky over Barea at the end of games. Not becuz they believe Ricky can make a shot to save his life. Only that theyd rather have Ricky missing those shots instead of Barea. Its just odd to me the spell he has on fans.
