I always rooted for Darko because of his potential. I don't know if you could list 5 guys in NBA history with his size/strength/athleticism. Shaq, Hakeem, and Wilt is all I can think of. Obviously he's nowhere close to their level as a player, but that's the tools he had. He had skills, he just was not motivated to bring them out unless we were playing the Clippers. I'll never forget how he always seemed to randomly show up to shut down Blake Griffin and go for 20/10.

Yes, darco has so much potential. Its such a waste that he couldnt put it all together. He could have been special given his size, athletic ability and skills. His heart and determination just simply wasnt there.

Not only did he have good games againts blake and the clippers, but he also has good games vs duncan and the spurs. Such a wasted talent.

I'll never forget a spin move he put on Blake a couple years ago. Just beautiful. Left him frozen in his shoes. Then I never saw it again. Could have been such a great player.
