Make-up is a poor choice of words. I meant that I felt as good of our roster strength going into last season as I did this season. I think we were all very bullish on last year's team and then things immediately started to go downhill once Love hurt himself in pre-season. The fact we were able to win 32 games, our best year since KG left, is a testament to the grit of the guys that fought through it. True, stylistically, a guy like Brewer is way different than AK47.

I would agree with you here given AK/Roy were our new wings and one had a huge health question mark. This season we have Martin/Brewer in which neither is as big a question as Roy and each had a significant strength and a significant weakness going in. So far Brewer's offensive consistency has far exceeded my expectations and Martin's offense has far exceeded any defensive weakness! I don't think with 7 games of hind sight that I would expect last years team to be better than this years though.

I agree SP, I still hope that the second team either gets it together or Flip finds a way to improve the situation. Then we can really start to get excited.

Hollinger's first rankings are out with the wolves at number 2. Seems a little, but nice to be getting some recognition.

Putting us above Portland seems a bit off. I hope that they are right.
