Ugh, second rounders?

And who the heck is Troy Daniels? Looks like an SG. Aren't we already stacked there? Part of what made sense was maybe making a little time for GRIII. So much for that.

Good point, I could see the Sixers jumping on that

Daniels is a very one-dimensional player. Between the D League and the Rockets, he took about 800 shots last season. About 625 of them were three pointers.

I have no idea if he can do anything else... but he connected at a 40%+ clip.

I also have no idea if Flip will be able to incorporate a one-dimensional 3 point shooter into a scheme that prides itself on open 19 footers instead. It seems like a bad fit from that perspective.

But maybe Flip was just waiting for the right players to incorporate the three point line more. We'll see. In any event, Daniels is cheap ($800k) so Taylor must be happy.

Daniels is signed into next year only earning $947,276. Brings us a three point threat (though he is in a slump right now) which is something we could use desperately, but Flip will probably tell him to take a few steps inside the line as he is wont to do.

I'm alright with this trade.

Brewer was a good dude, brought energy every game and seemed to get along great with his teammates. But this clears the way for Shabazz to start while Martin is injured and also should allow GR3 to maybe see a little more action or at the very least some time for Bud to play his way into a trade.

Turiaf was the ultimate sideline cheerleader and chemistry guy, sucks to see him go but we need that roster spot bad right now. We'll most likely sign Adrien now but maybe Flip will take a shot at a legit big like Aaron Gray or Bernard James. Either way it will be nice to have a healthy big around.

The picks will probably be sold, but as bleed points out we could use them to ship Bud out of town which would give us a little more 2015-2016 cap room.

Troy Daniels did break the D-League record for threes made in a season, I believe. 240 if I remember correctly. With how important shooters are in today's game, I think Flip got a good one for cheap cheap.

Also, NO, we are not stacked at SG. We have Martin, who's good, and LaVine, who's still raw and learning. We also know Martin's minutes should be slightly reduced.

I wonder if this move throws Muhammad into the starting lineup. Based on his play only, he deserves to get that opportunity. I also think it would benefit Wiggins to play with Bazz as their games seem to mesh well, in my opinion.

LaVine/Williams
Wiggins/Daniels
Muhammad/Robinson
Young/Bennett
Dieng/Adrien

I'd like to see this until our "big three" (lol) comes back.

I don't see anyone taking on 8 mil of salary with Bud for two 2nds. Philly could buy two late 1sts for 5 mil.

Wolfson: 3rd team potentially involved. That's why there's no official announcement. Again, will be curious if Daniels sticks here. #Twolves

Then this trade sucks balls.

We should have gotten a big in the trade somehow. Clint Capela would have been perfect. They could have GR3 back if they wanted.

You're really overrating Capela.

I can't really complain about a trade that gets rid of an overpaid bench player where we don't take on more salary. This is just trimming the fat. If we can by way of a miracle dump that stiff Budinger I will be ecstatic.
