I think Shabazz moves well off the ball and makes opportunities. I am not sure how many of his scores are assisted, but it seems like a good %. If Wiggins would learn to make more cuts he would have a lot more opportunities.

That's a very good point and we actually know this data. Wiggins is assisted on 52% of his 2-point makes and Shabazz is assisted on 62% of his makes.

We actually have a few players on our roster that are very good moving off the ball. Shabazz is one, but Martin is a master at it as well. Budinger is good at it too, but he is such a poor finisher nowadays that it doesn't matter much.

Shabazz is a unique wing player in that he is able to score prolifically (i.e. 20+ points per 36 minutes) without having good handles. He does it through filling the gaps of the defense: Cutting to the basket, hitting the O-boards, quick post-ups, and running on the break.

Bazz's next step is to improve his jumper, specifically from three point line. If we could have him scoring in ways that Q previously listed PLUS as a spot-up threat, he'd be quite the offensive punch. He has OK form too. Wonder how much he's worked with Penberthy. Improving his FT% needs to happen as well.

62% and then I wonder if you add in points off offensive rebounds I bet Shabazz really doesn't take up as many positions as he just gets into position to score. I noticed in the pregame he calls himself a guard. I really think that is his best position. If he can show he can hit the 3 and continues to be aggressive getting rebounds he will be a nightmare of a matchup at SG. He might not be a good ball handler or defender, but he can just dominate in other areas.

One thing I like about Bazz (besides the dunk shouts) is that he does what they always tell players to do--run to the front of the rim. He's a good offensive rebounder not because he's necessarily a great rebounder, but because he's always doing down low because he knows that's where the ball is going to be. It's also why he seems to be the recipient of dump passes when guys get dribble penetration. He's in the best place to pass the ball.
