Tony parker is really good and under rated. One of the best pg for many years. Fun to watch as well.

I like Brewer but can we please stop running so much of our half-court offense through him. He's not a good offensive player. He plays too fast and out of control.

Injuries, yet again, have sucked the life out of this season, but at least every game it seems like at least one of our young guys show great promise. Tonight it was AB.

He was hitting his jumpers tonight and at least tried a couple of post moves, although those didn't end well except for the one foul he drew. He seems to either like the long 2 on pick and pops or the ferocious dunk on pick and rolls. He also gets his fair share of tip-ins.

Defensively, though....Oof. Him, Dieng, and Brewer are kind of all the same: It's either a steal or two points for the other team. These guys are so bad at walling up, staying grounded, and forcing guys to make tough shots. It's just way, way, way too easy for opposing teams on the inside and the outside. The effort is there, but the fundamentals just suck.

Q -- Of the three, Brewer is by far the worst at staying grounded in front of his guy. At his age, he won't change. But since it is, as you indicated, a matter of fundamentals, the two young guys can learn and develop into good defenders. Unlike Brewer, AB and Dieng have enough size to man up and defend effectively. Bill add that Dieng was actually pretty good defensively last night. He took a couple charges and really hung in there agains Duncan. AB also had some good moments defensively staying in front of his man.
