I'm sure it won't surprise anyone that I didn't like Love's essay at all. Frankly, I felt like I needed to take a shower after reading it. It was typical Love passive aggressive, manipulative, narcissistic BS. I felt a combination of disgust and relief that he is gone. Judd Zulgud is generally a balanced sports writer, I think, and like me he sees through Love's crap. Here's what he wrote yesterday about Love's essay

I agree with this take, although perhaps I might not be so kind. I felt the same sense of relief when I read Love's post-game locker room comments a couple days ago, the first indication I have seen that he may not be happy playing second, third or even fourth fiddle. I'm feeling quite grateful that I finally have a basketball team that I can throw myself behind 100%.

I just read that. That article was complete PR move. I don't buy it. Love might feel somewhere in the middle, but this came way to late in my eyes to be genuine.

Personally I thought Judd's article was sad because it seems clear he had no intention of reading Love's article as anything other than a negative. It seems clear to me that Love is saying Wiggins situation was worse than his and I thought that was sort of a lead into how Love's situation was sucky but don't feel sorry for him cause Wiggins had it way worse. People see what they want to see I guess and obviously I'm more positive than Judd lol. One comment on another board cracked me up "Judd is just mad Love is a better writer than he is." Its a joke but Judd doesn't seem very balanced to me in this article. There is stuff to be offended by in this letter but dismissing everything Love says as revisionist history seems like someone who just doesn't like Love and his viewpoint on the summer isn't valid.
