Q makes a good point that everyone on Phoenix had a career year last year, and that led to a huge increase in wins. Coaching had a lot to do with it, and the question is whether Flip can contribute to a turnaround as much as Hornacek did. I think Flip will lead a terrific turnaround, although given that five players who we are counting on to contribute long-term will be in their rookie or second year, I don't expect that we will see Phoenix-like success this year. But I expect that we will play with a lot more intensity and freedom, and that we will be significantly more fun to watch. And I think the future is exceptionally bright.

Yep, plus 9.6 PPG from their 4th highest scorer...current assistant coach Sam Mitchell!

We could take a step further towards trying and be this year's Suns team!!!! Its being reported the Suns have offered Bledsoe signed and traded to a max deal for Love! What a deal!!!!! Lol

Derrick Martin... We should sign this guy. He sounds good. :D

Does anyone think that a Bledsoe for Rubio trade would make sense? Bledsoe and the Suns appear to be at an impasse. Rubio will be in the same boat soon. If you have to tie one of them up long term, which would be the better fit?

I think both teams would rather stick with their guy. Probably going to get paid the same when it's all said and done. Bledsoe's the better scorer, but Rubio's better at everything else, in my opinion.

Lip, You pretty much only describe the good parts of each player. Let me add a dose of reality:

1. Ricky Rubio - A very good young vet PG. Probably the best passing PG, one of the best defensive OGs and an excellent rebounder at his position.
Also one of the worst shooters in NBA history.

2. Pekovic - A top 5 center when healthy. Probability the second or third best low post scorer after Al Jefferson and Dwight Howard. A vet still in his prime who produces 17 and 9 nearly every game.
Can't stay healthy

3. Derrick Martin - One of the top three-point shooters and foul shooters in the League.
One of the worst defenders in the NBA

4. Wiggins - An elite rookie talent with more basketball experience than KG when he came into the League
He'll be a 19-year old rookie. They rarely do more good than harm.

5. LaVine - another elite rookie talent who, in addition to being an exceptional athlete, proved to be a very good perimeter shooter hitting 37.5% from behind the arc in college
Same as Wiggins.

6. Dieng - A talented 2nd year big man who already showed elite NBA rebounding and shot blocking ability last season as a rookie.
OK, I love Dieng, so hard for me to knock him, but....He was a horrible post defender and often had trouble finishing in traffic.

7. Shabazz - A hard working, talented scorer entering his second NBA season.
