I'm not '100%' convinced that paying Ricky right now wouldn't be the cheaper option with the new TV contracts coming into place, but Flip knows we can't afford to lose Ricky, he's critical to not taking a step backwards, and critical to where this team could go in the future. Probably also critical in the long-term to the hopes of keeping Wiggins, should Wiggins turn out to be very good.
Bleed, I don't think throwing a max at Klay would screw them. I think it's a lock they'll be paying him the max barring injury.

I wouldn't get Bledsoe unless we get rid of Ricky. No sense in paying them both a lot of money when they aren't a great fit next to each other. I would absolutely offer Klay the max now that we have Wiggins in the fold. A Ricky/Klay/Wiggins lineup would be elite defensively and Klay's outside shooting would be ideal until Wiggins gets the NBA range down. Worst case scenario the Warriors have to match and we handicap them from being able to do any other moves. I think Lavine could be several years away from being ready to start so it wouldn't be the worst thing to have him be the sixth man off the bench as a combo guard.

Wasn't his Dad saying he would have to talk Klay off the ledge. You point is still the same I don't think Klay leaves GS unless something bad goes down there next year. They wouldn't include him for Love I'm pretty sure they are gonna keep him and he obviously wants to be there. He is gonna get the max unless he take a little less to be nice or whatever. l
