trade exception (which allows teams to acquire players via trade without taking players back in return) worth $6.3 million.... Did anyone else know we receved a trade exception as well?

Yes, there were reports of it being around 4 mill yesterday and then when it was announced today it was $6.3 which is awesome.

So i'm not sure how it works? Can we send it out and receve a player back worth 6.3M,Or do we ship a player out with it?

We can accept a player's salary with it basically. Can't send out a player and use it, I believe. A lot of the time, teams use them to accept bad contracts while receiving a 1st round pick for doing so.
