Wiggins, Bennett, and Memphis 1st. I think Flip will make other moves, but I think that is the deal with Cleveland. a third team may yield more, but we will have to give up something of value.

I figure a wing from us will go to sixers and they probably get bennet as well. Moultrie is a pf who will be better balance the roster.

I have a problem with PF's who rebound at a lower per 40 rate than Robbie Hummel. We have a lot of defensive rebounds to replace with Love leaving, and Young's 3.5 per game just doesn't cut it.
Let's see...last year's number one pick who struggled in his first year for valid reasons, or a guy who can't bring down 4 defensive rebounds in the seven years he has been in the league. Seems like an easy choice to me. We know what Young is, but Bennett at least has star potential.
He grabbed 5.1 DRB and 7.5 TRB in 2012. I can't blame anything from 2013 on Young. That Philly team was historically terrible.
Last year's No. 1 pick.. That really doesn't mean anything to me considering he shouldn't even have been first overall pick in one of the weakest drafts of the past decade. Struggled in his rookie year because he was out of shape and because he continues to believe he's a SF instead of a PF. We can give the excuse of breathing problems or whatever, but to me, that explains his issues with stamina, not what he actually did on the court.
We know what Young is. A guy who can score anywhere from 15-18 efficient PPG and 6-8 RPG while bringing good defense. Though, I'll add that he's never played with a PG like Rubio, who I believe could make him a better player than Miller, Holiday or MCW did.
Woah. Bennett does NOT have star potential. We need to hope he can at least become a decent rotation player if we acquire him, maybe a starter if he changes his mentality and becomes a smarter basketball player. Star potential is a stretch, though. The guy just had one of the worst rookie seasons from a top pick ever.

Philly 1st... unprotected next season?
No. Landing yet another top 5 draft pick is part of the orchestrated tanking going on in Philly. The owner actually said "This season was a success" as he watched his team lose 26 straight games and lose 60+ games.
Now, Philly is fighting the proposed draft lottery changes.
[Note: Actually... after writing that... I guess it's conceivable if the league changes to the new draft lottery system. But if it remains as is... no chance.]

Dieng was a rebounding machine and Pek's boards will likely go up with Love gone. I expect we'll be able to reclaim a good chunk of Love's rebounds spread throughout the lineup. While I'd certainly expect our rebound numbers to drop, I think we'll be ok

Wolves get Wiggins, Bennett, Thad Young and Miami's First along with a couple filler contracts to match salaries
Cleveland gets Love and Brewer along with the Memphis 1st and Tony Wroten
Sixers get Waiters, the Memphis 1st, Shved and JJ.

I may just buy season tickets, if that happens, Lip!

Min receives: Wiggins, Waiters, Young and Cleveland pick, plus unguaranteed contracts of Lucas and Thomas.
CLE receives: Love, Barea, Wroten and future 2nd from Min.
PHI receives: Bennett, Martin and Miami pick.

Young isn't an efficient scorer, and is good at getting steals but can't hold defensive position down low. He is a serviceable PF at best. Bennett was coming off a shoulder surgery I believe last season so he missed valuable preseason time for a rookie. While I don't see him as a star, I am certainly willing to give him a chance. I know I don't want to give up a first and him for Young, who is likely to be a one year rental for us.
