We gonna post here now? Also just saying how bad the central is we're only two games out of first place.

LOL oops. I didn't mean to put this in the Wolves section. Sloppy on my part. Oh well.

I woujldn't call our division "bad", jester, because the division is .500. I would call it "average and balanced"...at least in the early going.
A lot of pressure on Pelfrey tonight after 3 bad starts. Deduno is looking really sharp, at least after he lets his inherited runners score, and deserves to start. Horrible decision to put him in the bullpen.

Mauer's hitting .256 on the season. We're [Twins] paying him $23M a year. He better catch on serious fire quick. 20 games in: 1 HR, 5 RBIs. Really Joe? He should give half his salary to Colabello for keeping this offense productive.

He's a big disappointment this year. Even more surprising is that he ranks 8th in the American League in K's...one more than Adam Dunn!

And with his strike out in the first, Mauer moves within one K of tying for third in the league in most strikeouts...unbelievable. At least he hit the ball hard in the third with two on, but once again he leaves runners on base.
And in the bottom of the inning, he throws high to second and the runner is safe;;;I'm guessing that will cost us a run.

Yep, the second run is on Mauer. He's killing us on offense and defense. And guys say Pek, Brewer and Martin are overpaid!

LST, Mauer's playing first and Pinto's behind the dish. Pinto had a costly overthrow to second and when Jennings stole he fumbled the ball out of his glove. Rough defensive outing for Josmil today, but he did just score a run.
Colabello for MVP. This guy is becoming one of my favorite players. BARTENDER! JACK!

Yeah, I know Pinto had an error in the first that cost us an unearned run, but Mauer made a bad throw in the third that led to an earned run (because you can't assume the DP). To his credit, Mauer speared the ball nicely at the bag for the out, but any kind of decent throw at all to second completes the DP and no runs score.
And, fuck yeah...loving the Colabello story!

Just sitting here thinking about the Twins future. We have one of the best offenses in baseball right now. Granted we're only 20 games in, but it's not like the success can't or won't continue. Our batters work counts, take walks and make pitchers work. That's always a recipe for success.
So here's what I'm thinking. In the near future, we're potentially looking at:
1. Dozier - 2B
2. Mauer - 1B
3. Buxton - CF
4. Sano - 3B
5. Colabello - DH
6. Plouffe - LF
7. Pinto - C
8. Santana - SS
9. Hicks - RF
Arcia could platoon with Hicks and Plouffe; getting work against righties here and there. That looks like a damn good lineup to me.
