The rise of Dieng has given me a lot of optimism for the future. I think it is too early to determine Pek as expendable, Pek himself has played very well this season. I think next season Dieng needs to be the first big off the bench whether it be slotting in at the 4 or the 5. There's 12 minutes behind Love at the PF position and at least 16 behind Pek at center. Dieng should see 80% of those available minutes. He will also get the chance to start when Pek is out for his standard 20 games a season.
Another note I will add is that Adelman's corner offense is a thing of beauty when run correctly. It's a pity he doesn't have the same effectiveness on his defensive schemes.
