My sister in law’s best friend that lives in the area heard from a girl that comes in and works out every day and has the same hair stylist as Allison that McDaniels recently talked to Aaron Burr sir and Burr told McDaniels to “Foul Less…smile more.”

Check out McDaniels standing next to Paolo Banchero who is listed at 6"10. If Jaden's now 6"11, how tall is Paolo? Maybe, they both had recent growth spurts.

To be fair, McD is a little behind Paolo which could result a bit of distortion in the perspective. But the bigger problem is that photo is over a year old!

Hmmm, it looks like you are right. I thought McDaniels played in Seattle's Pro-Am last month against Banchero and Holmgren, but now I am not so sure.

Yeah, Paulo is listed at 6-10 (he's playing center for the US team), so considering the fact that Jaden is behind him and he's grown a couple inches since the 2022 pro-am, he seems to be at least 6-11 now. That's going to be a very long front line!

Jaden McDaniels missed the Wolves second preseason game on Saturday with "left calf soreness".
At the Wolves first practice back in Minnesota today, Chris Finch was asked about how McDaniels is doing, and this was the answer: "No update on Jaden on anything right now. Status quo."
Personally, not being with the team in Abu Dhabi, I was of the assumption that McDaniels missing the game was more in line with a typical preseason rest night.
Perhaps there's more to McDaniels' calf soreness than Edwards' tweaked ankle injury (that only kept him out the first preseason game).
The deadline for McDaniels to sign a contract extension is also October 23rd. Not sure if that plays a factor here, Hockenson-style.

Karl-Anthony Towns missed the preseason finale in Chicago with right knee soreness. He said today he's good to go for the opener.
Chris Finch says Jaden McDaniels is doing some 1-on-0 work right now. But it still seems like he's got some hurdles to clear.
