Can he be a salary filler in a trade this trade deadline? Honestly don’t know how the early rookie contracts work if there’s restrictions when they pick up there options.
He could have been filler either way before the trade deadline. Miller is putting up stats these first couple games, but I question his defensive effectiveness if the team is giving up so many points. I wouldn't put the team's poor performance last night on Miller. From what I watched Miller looked good on both sides and he even handled the ball well for a big man. Wendell Moore was just chucking shots so that's the number one reason the Wolves lost, but apart from Keels, Miller was playing with guys that are just filling out a G League roster and likely will never sniff the NBA.
