You mis-fired!

Add Danilo Gallanari to the list of buy out candidates.

Morris is expected to be bought out following a trade to the Spurs, and there's almost always a market for a combo forward capable of knocking down 3-pointers. He hit 40% from long distance this season with the 76ers, and has also shown the chops to play some small-ball five in limited minutes to give his next team a different card to play.

Reported interest: Timberwolves

I’m intrigued by the idea of signing the other Morris.

How about this guy for our 15th roster spot if we sign Marcus Morris to fill our 14th spot?

Bonus: Killian Hayes

Though technically not a buyout, Hayes was waived by the Pistons fewer than four years after being drafted No. 7 overall. Despite starting the majority of his games with Detroit, he was never able to find his footing -- largely due to his inability to consistently make shots. That being said, he's still just 22 years old, and still possesses all the talent that made him a high lottery pick to begin with. Someone will likely give him a shot.

I’d like to see the Wolves sign Marcus Morris and Killian Hayes. Marcus interests me as a savvy playoff-tested veteran forward who can hit threes. Hayes interests me as a young PG prospect to bring into the organization. Assuming the organization decides to bring the band back for next season, which means exceeding the 2nd apron, our transactional flexibility to acquire players will be extremely constrained. At some point, this team needs a successor to Mike Conley. Maybe the Wolves will re-sign Monte Morris to eventually succeed Conley, but it also makes sense to sign a very young highly talented PG like Hayes who the Wolves can use their Bird rights to re-sign after this season。

I’m completely fine with both of these options. Fournier is still my number 1 choice if he is bought out but I do like both of these options

I’d be fine with Fournier or Gallo. But if I had to choose one of those two or Morris, I’d opt for Morris based on his toughness.

I had forgotten that Gallinari had a nice run with the Nuggets and would have some sort of relationship with TC. From a basketball perspective, Gallo is my top choice. I am hopeful that is the guy we get.

Lakers get dinwiddie for 1.5m. Don't think he changes much for them, other than adding a bit of shooting that they need. Still hope we don't play them first round because their FT differential / ref treatment is bonkers (especially for a team that isn't top of the league in paint points/drives).
