Let's turn this around...Wolves/Sactown GDT
Re: Let's turn this around...Wolves/Sactown GDT
Julius Randle wtf. Finch get Reid in there ffs. Terrible coaching.

Why are we not trapping or double taking Fox. I’m sorry but Finch has been terrible tonight adjusting.

Terrible offensive sets and execution. Mike Conley has forgotten how to shoot this season. Julius Randle is the dumbest player I’ve ever watch play. Air balls a three, blows a layout when they’re 3 on 1 and then commits a turnover in three straight possessions.

Sabonis really gets a lot of slack from the officials. The illegal screens and flopping. He’s one of my least favourite players.

Abe's half-hearted DVR review:
- I don't think I'm the only one. Weekend or not... 17 posts after a nearly blown 20 point lead, where the Wolves battle back to win in OT despite the other team's star scoring 60 points.
- I remain unimpressed with McDaniels. The stat sheet shows 3 TOs. There were 3 more that were knocked away but somehow ended up in the hands of another Timberwolves player. He's a 3-and-D guy who's been mediocre on offense and ho-hum on defense.
- The offense bogged down when Randle touched it. He also went through guys and got to the line when a bucket was needed. It's the Julius Randle experience. Meh.
- The Wolves made so many dumb plays. The two steals from Fox were high school level bad. The Randle passing up an open three, only to take a stepback airball three. There were many others.
- Wolves were fortunate that DeRozan + Monk were out. Instead they got 95 minutes from Huerter, Lyles and Ellis. They combined to go 5 - 19 fg for 14 points. Lyles played 41+ minutes.
- They won because Edwards made some incredible plays down the stretch. And at least he did something to slow down Fox. At one point it looked like NAW was encouraging the super speedy lefty to go... left.
- yeah. woo.

Our offense can still be sit around and watch Edwards or Julius, it is exhausting and thrilling at times. Both players need to trust their teammates a bit more. Tough to steady that without a regular PG who commands respect. Was another legendary individual performance by Edwards on the road in spite of the misses.
