Dillingham with a couple hustle plays there at the end. Gets a bucket, a strip, and then forces the goaltending with his quickness.

Now a nice alley-oop to Beringer to start the second. Nice.

TSJ with an alley oop there to Edwards. Would like to see that again.

Shannon is getting really good at being able to get downhill and then find people and not just get his own shot (or draw a foul). I've been really impressed with that aspect of his game in summer league. Big development for him.

Did they literally use the entire 2nd quarter to interview JB Bickerstaff!? C'mon!

Wow. Beringer's athleticism on that defensive play was really impressive.

Also, memo to the production crew: you can run an interview during a game without having a pullout video on the guys talking the entire time.

He has turned it over a few times so far tonight, but yeah, he's showing the ability to create shots for others off the dribble. TSJ is clearly the new 8th man in the rotation. The question is whether Dillingham will be getting minutes, and if so, how many. Beringer looks really promising, but I don't see Finch finding him much playing time for him unless there's an injury.

EDIT: Then he blocks another shot. Damn. He DOES look like he could really end up being special defensively.

Man, this game is being called tight. I guess that makes sense to help break in the rookies and other newbies to how the game is supposed to be called when the rules are followed to the letter. But it ain't like this in the playoffs!

They have Shannon as the #1 option on offense AND he's guarding Ron Holland, Detroit's top scorer. Really like how the coaching staff is heaping responsibility on Shannon, as they should.
