More context about how overrated these guys are:
They have been underdogs against Phoenix, Denver, LA, Golden State, Denver and San Antonio. They aren't underdogs this often if they are distinctly overrated.
If we would take the regular season seriously, we might not have been underdogs in all those matchups.

I wouldn't say any of them are considered overrated nationally. If anything, Rudy's one of the most hated players in the league to the point where we think any tall oaf can do what he does for minimum wage.
Randle is a player who doesn't get remembered fondly by any team who had him. Knicks fans miss DiVincenzo so much more than Randle.
Naz amongst Wolves fans is extremely overrated. I get why, but fans (and some media) really tried to speak into existence him having the KAT role on this team and being the 2nd best player on it because he got it out the mud. Jaden's another one where we thought all he had to be diet Kawhi is talk ourselves into it. Instead, we're gonna head into year 7 still waiting for "the leap." If this was Ant we woulda gave up by now and cut our losses.
Is Beringer overrated? Not yet. I think we have to be realistic about his floor as well as his ceiling. I choose to be patient with him because we're supposed to be.
I think Jaylen Clark was overrated to begin the season and it took this season for everyone to realize that he's Josh Okogie
Considering who started this thread, this is really an "I hate Ant" thread, which is ok. We've hitched our wagon for better or worse to Ant. To do anything else is to basically decide that this team is worthless until at least 2033.

Maybe or maybe those teams are the overrated ones.

Dubs, you're bat shit crazy regarding McDaniels. You didn't see a leap this year? He shot over 41% from 3 and had career highs in PPG, FT%, assists, and blocks. All while guarding the other teams best player every night. He threatened a 50-40-90 season. The only thing keeping him from averaging 20 points is his role on the team. What kind of leap are you expecting? I really don't understand the shade you put on him.

Guess again Dubs. I'd put Ant at #3 on the list of most overrated behind Rudy and Julius.

I suppose any basketball player that gets to play one on one and hang out with Obama can be considered overrated. That is more on his natural charisma though that he gets opportunities like that.

Why is hanging out with Obama a good thing? You couldn't pay me to do it.

I'm still trying to figure out Clark, WW. I know that he overrates himself...saying he could make 40% of his threes was kind of absurd. But he makes so much happen when he is out there, I still think there could be a role for him. But yeah, I guess I was overrating him mid season when I was suggesting he should be getting 12-15 minutes a night.
I'm not going to speak for Cool, but I rather doubt that he or anyone else here hates Ant...we're all Wolves fans, and if you hated the guy who is absorbing 1/4 of our payroll, you wouldn't be having much fun watching this team. Personally I love Ant...he probably has as much personality and charisma as anyone we have ever had on our team. And he's a great scorer, and still improving. My beef with Ant is I want him to get closer to the true superstars in the league in the stats that really matter in terms of value to a team...VORP, ws/48, on/off, and others. Ant doesn't rank in the top 10 in any of them, and I think he is going to have to if we are serious about challenging for a chip. He's always going to be a great PER and PPG guy and that's good, but I don't think we're going anywhere as a team if a guy who is going to be making $55 million a year in 2 years doesn't crack the top 10 in more meaningful stats. I want (need) him to be more valuable.

Well all go ahead and take a stab at this.
As others have said Rudy and Randle pretty constantly butts of the joke around the league, which either makes them underrated or appropriately rated depending on your perspective.
I don't think anyone has ever called Randle a championship #2, but the fact that he has been given that position almost by definition makes him overrated at least in the Wolves' building. Either way, no I don't think Randle is overrated by anybody not named Chris Finch.
Rudy is overrated by Wolves fan. He is overrated because of the floor raising things he does in the regular season, but you cannot win a championship with him as your 2nd most important player. Flat out, you can't, his shortcomings will be exposed as the competition gets harder.
Naz is overrated by casuals and that's about it IMO, and to be honest I think he, like Jaden, suffers from his role surpressing his overall effect. Being a backup center and playing in lineups where his floor spacing isn't optimized really hurts him I think. I wish he was a more disciplined defender but at least he tries. I think folks on this board have really negative feeling about his season this year, but I personally think he showed some incredible development as a shooter and that was sandwich by the loss of his sister clearly affecting his play and then the shoulder injury. Now in this SA series with him finally healthy again I guess, he's been the most constantly good player on the team.
So no I don't think he's overrated which I gather mean I'm in the minority.
Ant, is both because of the incredibly ceiling he has, still being a fairly young player, but a six year vet at the same time and is incredibly highs getting more attention than his frustrating lows.
Last I check the ringer's player ranking had Ant as the 6th best in the league. Iknow some on here would regard that as flat out ludacris, while I would regard it as being slightly overrated after the marginally disappointing 25' - 26' season. However I suspect when the ringer update their ranking, Edwards will move down anyway.
So for me, Ant is appropriately rated, and I personally am still willing to bet on his enormous potential even if i have my doubts
