PROS:
Fast quickness, and strong. Productive player who could play three downs and contribute on special teams.

CONS:
Small. He played LB/S combo in college

KEY STATS:
Led Michigan with 102 tackles as a senior. He is new to the game. The Vikings have liked speed over size at LB. His sophomore years was his best. (82 tackles, 17.5 for loss, eight sacks, two interceptions, nine pass breakups). Hudson tied an NCAA record that year with eight tackles for loss against Minnesota.

FIT FOR VIKINGS:
He would be a development player and special teams contributor.

Seems like a guy the Vikings would like with his athletic ability. The physical profile reminds me of Eric Wilson. His story got me a little bit. It also cracked me up seeing Harbaugh dressed up looking great in a suit...with a Michigan hat on. Lol that guy is weird but I've always kinda liked him.

Agreed. Harbaugh is a perfect college coach in my eyes. I hope he finds success very soon.

It sounds like Hudson struggled in man to man coverage at the Senior Bowl which will hurt his stock and he never really improved much after his sophomore year. I think he would be a great Viking at the right poin t in the draft. He has some good physical tangibles and obviously has Harbaugh as a fan.

April 2nd - Yasier Durant - OT - Missouri

PROS:
At 6-foo-7, 330 pounds, Durant is a mountain of a man on that left side, but he has surprisingly nibble feet. Despite his size, Durant is a player who Missouri uses to pull around behind the line of scrimmage on split zone and counter plays as a lead blocker. Really like the strength in Durant's lower body. He's a guy who can sit down an anchor on bull rushes as well as push people consistently as a run blocker.

CONS:
Inside moves give him a little trouble. He has a wide first kick when pass blocking, which bodes well and give him a pretty balanced base, but when edge defenders hit quick inside moves, Durant is susceptible to getting beat. Didn't knock many guys off their feat. Combine numbers left a lot to be desired and might leave him out of some team's athletic profile.

KEY STATS:
In 2018, Durant surrendered just eight pressures all year, which was less than guys like Florida's Jawaan Taylor and Alabama's Jonah Williams, players that were Top 50 selections in the 2019 NFL Draft.

FIT FOR VIKINGS:
He looks like a big guy that could do well in our zone scheme at OT/OG. A good development prospect that would be a good practice squad player.

JOSH LOVE QB - San Jone State

Strengths
He improved each and every year at San Jose State and that clearly showed as he was named the Mountain West's best quarterback and offensive player of the year. So, he is doing something right.

He hits receivers in stride and has a strong enough arm and he also sits in the pocket and followed through on passes and absorb hits.

Love also is good on the move and is still accurate when he throws on the move. Plus, he is able to throw a rocket or have touch which is needed when making a variety of throws that will be needed at the NFL level.

Weakness
He comes from San Jose State and never had a winning record as a starting quarterback, but in 2019 he nearly willed the Spartans to bowl eligibility but came up just short.

His lack of facing high-level competition and only having just played one complete season is a bit concerning from a health standpoint. However, he was the opening day starter in three-straight years with the Spartans.

While he is able to make throws downfield he sometimes underthrows wide receivers just a bit which forces wide receivers to adjust on the fly to make the catch.

Draft Prediction
There is very little evidence that Love will get drafted but teams are always quarterback hungry and he very likely will get taken as an undrafted rookie. The lack of in-person workouts and pro days also are hurting his chances of being drafted.

He was sacked just 12 times last year. Anthony Gordon was sacked 20 times. How much pressure did those guys face last year?

Love sure looks good throwing the long ball in those clips. He looks reasonably athletic. Compared to Gordon who in some extended highlights of games looks fast enough if he gets going A certain direction it looks to me like he could be dead in the water at the next level at times moving around. Love looks stronger and more like a guy that can move.

Meanwhile watching Browning in college he looks like he does a lot of what the do with Cousins. Move him around he played in a system where they ran the ball a ton. He played all 4 years. He played against Alabama in the college playoff. Supposedly he did some mechanical work that added some zip to his throws which was part of the knock on him. The other part was some bad decisions when being pressured.

Luq Barcoo, CB
School: San Diego State | Conference: Mountain West
College Experience: Senior | Age: 21
Height / Weight: 6'1" / 180 lbs
Projected Draft Status: 5th round to UDFA

Player Overview
Barcoo started his college career at Grossmont Community College (CA), where he spent 2 years, and played both receiver and cornerback, earning an all conference selection. In his first season at San Diego State, as a junior, he played in 11 games off the bench, and in limited play had 20 tackles, an INT, and 4 passes broken up.

During his senior season, Barcoo started all 13 games for the Aztecs and exploded on the scene. He had 55 tackles, 5.5 TFLs, 9 INTs, and 16 passes broken up. He led the country in passes defended per game (1.92) and tied the national lead for interceptions. As a result, he was named third team AP All American, a Jim Thorpe Award semifinalist, and first team All Mountain West.

Ballhawk. Has good hands if the ball gets near him.
Has good length.
Able to position himself well to make plays.

What do you think of Luq Barcoo? He has no followers and basically is not ranked in top 300.

Not sure. He seems to hold on to the ball until pressure is on him in a lot of those throws. I saw a highlight against Arkansas that came after he just got crushed, but bounced back. He seems like a good camp guy. Three things that are important to me as QB. Accurate, quick release, and reads the field.

I forgot to reply to my post for a few hours and part of what I wrote didn't got through. This is the rest of it:
