What if we got both I doubt it will happen but a man can dream. We've enough space on out pay roll and don't forget the new tv packages kick in and everyone gets extra 21 million. Now will Pohlad pocket protectors use that money on pay roll I doubt it but like I said a man can dream.

Better to dream big! Nolasco AND Garza would give me much hope for this franchise. Like you said, we have the money to get both. Both have reasons as to why to come to Sota. Pitcher's ballpark, pretty good run support, money, etc. I still really want Hughes, though. So even if we were to get only one of Nolasco/Garza plus Hughes, I'd be excited.

Glad to see the Twins in the thick of things this off-season.

Vargas signed with the Royals for 4 yrs, $32M. I'm glad we didn't get him. Nolasco/Garza/Hughes. Two out of those three please.

Don't know the money value, but I read that we gave him three years with an option on the fourth. Don't know if it's a player/team/incentive option, however.

I would assume it's a player option because I'm sure they sold him on the future and the ball park so I'm sure they gave him the option to make him feel like he has more protection.

I'm telling I got feeling there going after garza that 21 million you get for the new tv contract is really gonna help them spend there money.

Cause to me the money they give Nolasco is basically Moreneau contract

I'd love it if we got Nolasco AND Garza. Two legit No. 2 starters in this league who are pretty consistent too. Hopefully you're right jester. We have the money, in all honesty. Twins just need to be smart with it while not being too conservative.
