Mauer lets a screamer past him at first, but nice throw from Arcia to gun down Alexei at second.

Leadoff double for Hicks. Man he's a different hitter on the right side it feels like. 2-3 today.

Finally Chris Sale leaves the game. One of the more underrated starting pitchers in the league. Guy's just tough to hit.

Hicks opened last year 2-48 by the way.

Good debut by Kurt. Three RBIs for him.

Yep, on pace for 486 RBIs...I say he ends up just short.

Twins take the loss. 5 ERs in 6 IP for Nolasco in his debut. Yucky. Suzuki and Hicks played well, though.
Twins go 2-8 with RISP.

B. Dozier, 2B
J. Mauer, 1B
J. Willingham, DH
J. Kubel, LF
T. Plouffe, 3B
O. Arcia, RF
K. Suzuki, C
A. Hicks, CF
P. Florimon, SS
K. Correia, SP
I like this lineup. Think Mauer should have been in the 2-hole many years ago. And it's good to see Kubel getting the cleanup spot!

Wasted opportunity to blow this one open. Bases loaded with one out and we only get one run out of it. Wow.
