I think Belichick deserves equal billing to Brady, whereas LeBron sort of transcends coaches. I mean, how do they never have a terrible defense or O-line? They also can plug and play all shapes and sizes of receivers and running backs and get the most out of them.

Oh I agree that's why I brought up the Spurs. Also the Patriots have a terrible Oline and or defense for anywhere from 5-6 or 10 games and then they sorta figure it all out at some point and make it all work sometimes even with injuries to what may seem like key players.

In addition the conversation on this forum has come up a few times but NBA and NFL are very different animals...so is Lebron.

Agreed that Belichick is just as important or more important.

Football is a team sport. Coaching makes a bigger difference than NBA for sure. Lebron though to me is the best athlete of this generation. I can't say that about Michael Jordan because of guys like Bo Jackson and Deion Sanders.

Those are some pretty damn good names in that era. To me once you open it up to all sports that makes it a pretty fun conversation as long as people get celebrated. One name that came up on this show was Serena Williams. Micheal Phelps was mentioned very briefly.

I didn't think outside the box like that. I think 2 sports athletes have an upper hand. I wonder if Joe Mauer would have played football if he could have been an All-Pro? Charlie Ward won the Heisman and played in NBA for 12 years, but didn't have the arm of an NFL QB.

That stuff is fun to think about. It would be interesting to see Russell Wilson actually play baseball. I'd guess a lot of people think Tebow playing baseball is a joke (and a gimmick to get people in the stands) but he had a decent season at AA last year. I'm not really a Tebow fan but at this point I kinda pull for him as an athlete.

Also Moss. 2-time WV Basketball Player of Year. His teammate was white chocolate.

As a Vikings fan it's like throwing stones in a glass house but I do find the Broncos QB situation somewhat amusing. I haven't seen Flacco play enough the last few years but they will likely be paying him and Keenum's guaranteed money combined to be...about what we are paying Cousins. I think Flacco can still bomb the ball right? Does that match with the WRs they have? Idk Ravens supppsedly got a mid-round pick for him. Seems like a great deal.

Now maybe I haven't seen Glavco enough but ai actually don't hate this dealnfor the Broncos. Do you get a guy like him that sorta had it or add someone you hope finds it and never did? Should be fun.

It is interesting. I think they might be paying more for Flacco and I think Cousins is better than Flacco.

I like the Bronco's and hope it works out for Elway.
