I'm not saying this loss is solely his fault, but Malik Beasley shot 1-7 tonight from three and gave the Wolves nothing else. When his shot is off he's a liability. He looks good every fourth game and teases at what he could be, but he's too limited in other aspects of his game and inconsistent at the one thing he does well. Tonight was a great example of why Minnesota should be exploring trades for him.

A measly five free throw attempts for All-Star center Karl-Anthony Towns over his last three games... And people wonder why his emotions run rampant at times. Once again, it's not a matter of settling or not attacking the rim. Officials just don't award him the shooting fouls that they should -- that other star players get on a nightly basis.

Maybe he should drive to the basket more.

Two streaks remain alive... kind of fitting we do it against the Kings... the only team with a realistic chance to catch as the worst NBA franchise...

- 18 years and counting without a 6-game winning streak. (I have new fodder for every time I bring up this stat now. FOURTEEN teams have won 6 straight games THIS season. Did I read that correctly???)

- 28 straight times the Wolves have lost the back game of a road back-to-back after winning the first game. That's an NBA record. Second place is only 17 times.

I wish it made sense. Just feels like KAT has been blacklisted by the officials. I thought we were starting to move in a positive direction, but then there's stretches like this where he gets no love.

Also, Harrison Barnes is a bum. /s

To be fair, as much as I respect Barnes game as just a steady player... I can't forgive him for 2016 just yet.

Definitely not Harrison Barnes' finest playoff series. That's for sure. 23-years old at the time and building a house of bricks in the NBA Finals.

Ha, even amidst a bit of a resurgence, we still manage to uphold such epic franchise failures. Didn't Houston win more than 6 straight THIS year?
