I like Simmons as much as the next guy, but he's not a perfect prospect in his own right and I have those two right at the top with him. There's also another handful of guys that have the talent to be All-Star players as long as they continue to work on their game and their bodies: Heild, Murray, Labissiere, Valentine.
Make no mistake about it, though, Ingram and Dunn are just as "for real" as Simmons is.
Cam for those of us that haven't seen him yet what makes Dunn such an impressive prospect?
Dunn's the complete package as far as point guards go. Effective in half-court and transition. First priority is to get to the rim; looks to attack consistently. Very capable perimeter shooter, though not anywhere near Steph Curry or Damian Lillard level. If you go under the screen, he will make you pay for it. Impressive athlete, above average defender and rebounder for the position. He plays hungry, like each possession is his last. And most importantly, he has a feel for the game. He's adept at finding his teammates when they're open. He understands how to operate in the pick-and-roll. He consistently finds shooters when he collapses the defense. He plays his angles well when attacking bigs. There's a lot to like about his game. And it doesn't hurt that he seems to be a smart young man. Likable guy for sure.
Highlight videos don't mean everything, but it's difficult to find a full game for you that shows what I'm talking about. This video against Arizona should give you a feel for what he brings. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tf0g_CbeD-g
The more I think about it the more excited I get about Skal potentially dropping to us. The guy can shoot and he's tall and long. He doesn't have the bulk Towns did to play in the post which is where Cal has tried to keep him most of this year, but the second Cal played him on the perimeter he looked right at home hitting 18 footers. He's definitely a little bit of a project, but there's a shot at Ricky being able to stay as our PG if we put 4 shooters around him. He's a 3 and D big which would be a nice addition around our current core.

Thanks for the breakdown I'll watch some video at some point or watch a game when it comes to the tourney. Is his subpar FT% something that is worth worrying about? It seems like a fairly legit concern.
Just looked into Ingram a bit. Tough not to be intruiged with him. Skinny but very long and loves to shoot 3's and does plenty of other good stuff to fill up the stat sheet. Hey I am started to get excited about this draft.

Do you have any guys you reasonably would hope to drop to our only likely 2nd rounder from Houston?
Off the top of my head, I'm thinking Marcus Lee from Kentucky or Dorian Finney-Smith from Florida. Hard to project who will be there that late in the draft, though.
I also don't know if the Wolves will even use that pick this year on a player.

If you assume that Wiggins and KAT are locked in as the two guys the Wolves are looking to build around, it's hard for me to say which guy here I really like. Both those guys need lots of touches and have proven that they can potentially be #1/#2 type options offensively.
I might actually be most intrigued by Kris Dunn because he seems the closest of this bunch to a legit two-way player - something we sorely lack right now. He would challenge both Rubio and LaVine for minutes. Tyus Jones would probably become an afterthought.
