Didn't expect a win tonight anyway, but the story of the season remains the same. Team plays well in the first half, struggles to open the third quarter, fights back to make it interesting, and then unravels down the stretch. So many mental errors from the players. We look like two different teams every game.
Seriously though, we are now in mid december and I just havent noticed any improvement from a team concept. At what point should we be seeing some form of progress? When do we start thinking that thibs has them turning the corner. Hell i dont see any improvement from game one to tonights game. Exactly what value is thibs and his ginormous contract and his full control bringing to this squad? Hell i could tell them to just go straight streetball it up out there and we would likely have the same record if not better. Please tell me the progress i am apparently missing?

I go back to the Abe theory. The real team we see is the second half one. Toronto looked listless and uninterested in the first quarter. We're a young, energetic group of guys. But whenever a team gets focused against us, our true colors show.

I think the team has already turned the corner under Thibs. Unfortunately he has them headed in the wrong direction. The evidence strongly suggests that they were headed in the right direction by last season's allstar break.

We have such a long ways to go.
Maybe that's accurate, but it's hard for me to completely agree with that just yet because the players abandon what was working earlier in the game(s) and as someone else said in the thread, they go into panic mode. Once their offensive focus gets disrupted, good luck getting them engaged on defense. We're soft right now.

My only comment is this: I can't pin the loss on Wiggins, but he is so damn infuriating it wouldn't bother me one iota if he were the odd man out.
Tonight was another game we could have won if Towns was his rookie self. Forcing the issue much less, not rushing, didn't give a shit about the "look at me" plays.
