I think he's doing the whole, "let them figure this out on their own" learning thing.
Frankly, I think it's too late now. To close 30 points to 9 in the course of a single quarter means they have a massive psychological edge now, especially with the crowd into it now.
That wasn't a good time to let them figure things on their own. That was bad coaching by sam.
