Waiters vs LaVine. - How will that effect his development?
Could they play together?

They could. LaVine would probably play more off-ball when paired with Waiters. Doubt it hinders his development. LaVine's going to be off the bench regardless of Waiters being on the team either at PG or SG.

Couldn't in theory (I know it is not going to happen) add LBJ, then trade for love and then sign Bledsoe. They would have the cap to add LBJ to a max, add Love with giving no one back and still be under the cap. then sign bledsoe and be under the tax line.
PHX gets: Love, Bud, LRAM, Barea
MIN gets: Len, the Morris twins, Ennis, Warren and Bogdan Bogdanovic, our pick back, 2017, 2019, 2023 first round pick.
This should be in the hypothetical trade thread so I apologize. But we get rid of big contracts off the books, get two good role players in the morris twins, 4 good prospects. and 4 draft picks (3 will be probably near the bottom of the draft). While the Suns are loaded and get some solid role players.
Rubio/Ennis/Shved
Martin/Lavine/Shabazz
Warren/Brewer/Shabazz
M. Morris/M. Morris/Dieng
Pek/Dieng/Len/Turiaf.
Pek becomes a good trade piece, maybe something like Pek for milsapp

Position-wise they surely could. Could they both develop fully together? Only one way to find out. There has been a problem for Waiters and Irving to coexist so far. Maybe it is Dion's problem, maybe it is Kyrie, maybe it is both. Maybe on a team with no headstrong players, Waiters would fit fine.

I made a post awhile back about just having fun. I think the best possible outcome for Minnesota is for LeBron to sign with Cleveland. If that happens, it basically signals that the Cavs have a deal in place to get them more help. The only trade that would make sense is for Love. If Flip could get Wiggins, can you imagine how much fun that would be? A smallish ball lineup of Rubio/LaVine/Wiggins/Robinson/Dieng would be amazing. Ricky and four great athletes to catch lobs and play D. I'm down to two possibilities. Either get Wiggins, or keep Love and dare him to find a better situation with cap room next offseason.

Kek I would want Dragic and Gerald Green in any deal with Phoenix.
I'm warming to the idea of a trade with Boston.
BOS: Love, Martin and Barea
MIN: Olynyk, Smart, Bradley, Bass (expiring), Bogan (cut), BKN 2015 1st and future BOS pick.
Rubio / Smart / Shved
Bradley / LeVine / Muhammad
Brewer / Budinger / Robinson
Olynyk / Bass / LMAM
Pek / Dieng / Turiaf
Alot of talented youth in that squad.

I read somewhere that because Smart has signed his rookie deal, he now cannot be dealt until January.

Someone mentioned that rookies can not be traded until January after they sign their rookie contract, but as I recall, they weren't certain this is true. Can anyone verify?
If it is true, it's interesting to see that neither McDermott or Wiggins is signed yet, since they are both guys who could be included in a big Love deal. Could the Cavs and Bulls be holding off on signing them until the Love sweepstakes is sorted out?

It's 30 days after they sign I believe. 98% sure on that one.
Wiggins is likely on his way to Minnesota by the end of the month.
