I still think the manslaughter charge is a slam dunk, but I suspect they are hung up on the Murder 2 and Murder 3 charges, and the longer they go, the more I think he will be acquitted on those charges. My daughter and boyfriend live in the inner city, and their bags are packed...ready to take back roads to come stay with us in the safe burbs.

I wish Biden would have waited to make his comments about the outcome he wants, but at least he waited until the jury was sequestered. Still misguided, but not at a Maxine Waters level.

Both Biden and Waters are complicit in the riots that are about to ensue. Neither one of those cretins are running the country, so they should have just kept their cocksuckers shut. I'll be staying out of Portland this week, and would encourage my friends on the board to do the same, no matter what major city you are near.

"cretins"... "cocksuckers"...

Easy there, fella. Chill. Relax. Calm down. Take it easy. Breathe...in. Breathe... out.

Back to the land of the calm and collected... yes. Ideally, Biden wouldn't have said anything. Let this already politically/racially charged event run its course in our judicial system without any public-influencing opinions (even if thinly veiled like Biden did).

Even though he didn't come remotely close to saying anything like Waters did... those who are against his "cocksucking cretin" type is going to paint the lines in bright neon colors to try to equate the two. And that's too bad. It causes further discord... even if it's at the feet of those who come unhinged online or elsewhere.

I still say these threads have no place on the Wolves forum. And I think we all know why...

We seem to have groups importing immigrants instead of those individuals making the tough decision. Is it a reality? Is that the right strategy?
3. We are sick of our freedoms and liberties being limited due to inciters of race wars.
4. Why is there not a call for self-accountability?

Those are some interesting generalizations about immigration in various time periods. There were many groups of people early in this country's history that were not coming here for just opportunity but to escape unsafe conditions. Who are these groups you speak about bringing in immigrants? Are they bringing them in against their own will and forcing them into slavery? Ah the golden age of the early part of our country.

Catholic Charities is the group that comes to my mind. A school-age friend's family was brought over by them and it was a big push for them to be Catholic on arrival. It was an avenue for them to get out of a bad situation.

Being a 3rd generation and my wife a 1st generation Americans, I think it would be interesting to really study this. I wonder if there is a good documentary or book on this.

Immigration in the 1920's when the countries population was around 120 mil is different than immigration now when the population is snowballing towards 400 mil.
Quite frankly the majority of the worlds problems stems from overpopulation of people. No I don't know how to solve that problem but I don't believe a country is ever better off by increasing its populations when it already struggles to take care of the people already there.

Thanks for the reply. Colonialism also tried to convert everyone to Christianity. I agree it would be interesting to learn more. If you find something please let me know.

I'm not saying whether I agree or not with the verdict, I'm simply saying it was a no brainer. If you have something to say, say it.
