Randle will have to have foot surgury after the draft. I wonder how far that may make him fall.

To 13 if we're lucky. Ha. Nothing goes our way.

I could live with that.

If Smart or Randle drops to 8 and the Kings call. Would you trade Love for #8 and McLemore package?

Assuming we can't get Wiggins from Cleveland, I'd gladly trade with Sac if Parker falls there and if they add another pick. In addition to getting the 8th overall pick, I would like to get another first round pick from Sac in 2016 as I think it should end up being a high lottery pick.

Parker won't fall to 8. No way that happens. If Randle or Smart fell to them I would do the deal if nothing better was available. I would pick Smart and move on.

I agree Parker won't fall. My bad--I mistakenly thought Parker rather than Randle was hurt. Of course, Parker will go in the top 3, and I'd take him right after Wiggins. If we can't get the Cleveland pick,Randle would be a decent option at 8 if we make a trade with Sac.

Love to cavs for number 1 pick. I really dont care if we get waiters and thomson. 1 of them will do, even if we get bennet and varejao and gee instead, I will be okay with it. The number 1 pick is the prize. Wiggins/embiid/parker in my view can be superstars in the league and as good or even better than love in the long run. Thats the best we can get in return. Boston, chicago and warriors deal doesn't really intrigue me to be frank.

Kevin Love basically said the other day that he's not ruling out Cleveland like some articles have said. I think the idea of playing with young star Kyrie Irving does interest him a lot. We know Cleveland's interested. They did offer No. 1, Waiters and Thompson last year for him, but were turned down.

I also read that Philly wants to trade up to No. 1 to grab Wiggins and would be willing to part with No. 3 and Thad Young. Young wasn't pleased about tanking last year, so I read, and could be used as a trade chip.

Wolves could come out of this like champions if we pulled off:

CLE: Love, Martin

MIN: No. 3, Waiters, Young

PHI: No. 1, Gee (cut)

We'd end up with one of Parker or Embiid. I'd assume Parker would be the guy that falls to No. 3 and I would be so good with that.

PG: Rubio
SG: Waiters
SF: Parker
PF: Young
C: Pekovic

I'd be down with this.

Payne just got to Minnesota, according to his Twitter. Wouldn't be surprised at all if we took him at 13.

I don't see any scenario where Cleveland values the #1 pick over Love (assuming they believe that him and Kyrie can make something happen and they will be able to re-sign him). Cleveland boffed the last draft (although Bennett could still improve obviously) but Love is a sure thing. And seemingly a good fit with Kyrie. Embiid, Wiggins or Parker all have star POTENTIAL. But realistically only one of those three players will ever be better or as good as Kevin Love in his prime.

I'd say some form of this deal will be on the table before draft day. And it very well could be the best option for the Wolves. An interesting two weeks ahead that's for sure.
