It's a little silly of course, but everyone has a right to their opinion. What is interesting to me is how Porkchop and Alex were so generous with their comments on this board when Rubio and the team were struggling more, but are now no where to be found. Don't they have other thoughts on players other than Rubio? Or do they just show up to troll Rubio when things are going poorly for him and the team?

What sucks is I've been one of the biggest Rubio supporters since he got here. And right when I jump off the bandwagon, he shows us all what he's made of. Suffice to say, if his career continues like we've seen since this thread was started, we have a top 10 point guard. Maybe he just needed ole Cool to jump start him.

I know that we laid out the rules that once you go full Porkchop you can't go back - but I'm curious if Cool would change back from full Porkchop if given the option.

It's still a valid concern about how Rubio will perform under the spotlight of a 7 game series when opposition game-plans can become much more focused. Does a reasonably good run from Rubio post all-star break affect that significantly?

You're gonna be a sad puppy when the bandwagon slams that door in your face after the Woofs win their first championship on the back of a well orchestrated Rubio run offense! Even 99.9% Porkchop will be smiling and waving as we pull away!

It's only a valid concern if he proves that his current shooting percentages are a fluke. If he can continue to knock down the three at the rate he has been and get to the line, he really shouldn't be a problem in a playoff series. We're just going to have to see if this the real Ricky, or one just having a bit of a good run.

The best thing that happened to Rubio this season is when Zach and Gorgs became fixtures in the starting lineup, especially Zach. Since then we have spaced the floor much better and FINALLY started using our superior athleticism to run the court for easy baskets. Yeah the defense has fell off, but give this starting unit more time playing together, and let the 3 young guys keep maturing physically and we'll be fine. But the bottom line is Rubio needs athletic scoring players around him to excel himself.

As for the posters trolling Rubio, don't worry, he will go through a bad shooting stretch again eventually and they will come back out in earnest.
