That was a strange game. It was a very encouraging first half, and then a highly disappointing 2nd. Wild Wolf, the team seemed disconnected as the game wore on. Did you notice anything going on between individuals? I've never seen Jaden so lackadaisical, almost like he was pouting about something. Is Finch having trouble keeping this group together?

Its not good when teams play worse in the second half. Its a sign of bad coaching. I continue to say fire Finch, he's an inflexible dumbass.

Before tonight’s game opponents get an offensive rebound on 28.1% of possessions Rudy is on the floor.

When he is off it is a 41.8%
It’s 42.4% with no Rudy and with Naz

League average 29.2%

Specifically Naz and eventually Jaden.

Naz got yanked in the 3rd after the lead grew and he threw his mouthpiece in disgust and didn't wanna be in the huddle.

Jaden was disenchanted late but I think it had more to do with the game getting out of hand.

KG4Ever only posts during or after bad losses since it reinforces his belief that Tim Connelly and Chris Finch are two of the biggest knuckleheads that ever existed and he can crow about it. You'll never see him on here during or after a win.

That's good stats and it's sadly what we watch. Just a complete lack of hustle or maybe ability to rebound even close to avg, it's just terrible.

I might go back to Joan may have to play even if he's not ready. We can't go into the postseason (if we even make it) not being able to defend in the non Rudy minutes. The biggest part of defending is getting the fucking ball! Rebound!!!! You can't get a stop without the ball in your hands. Who cares if they miss if they just clean it up with a tap in lay up/dunk.

Joan is likely not ready either, but he likely will play hard and try to rebound with effort, even if he as a 7 footer isn't good for his size right now.

Naz and Ju are just not 5's, we simply cannot defend or rebound when they are in the game together (sharing that role), and their offense has to be lights out so we stay even +/-. It's just basic basketball. Sure scoring is fun, but defending and rebounding matter first and foremost.

I might even just go big with Naz, Randle and Joan in at the same time just so we can defend. Dilly is getting his minutes swapped for Joan.

I know it's funny, his takes are more important then winning which we've done the last two years, the two best back to back seasons in Wolves history and he only cares that his take is right, which it obviously isn't since TWO BEST SEASONS EVER.

Even Ju has far exceeded anyones expectations, He's clearly a better player then KAT right now and 20 million cheaper.

Obviously he'll say it's all Ant and without Finch we'd have multiple chips already

I doubt Houston would do a deal with a Conference rival like us but Clint Capela is getting 11 MPG off the bench. I mean, they are loaded at Center with Sengun, Adams, Capela, and even Jabari Smith has the size to play some space-and-pace Center. How much of a perfect compliment would Clint Capela be off the bench for us right now!?

No one should be surprised that Rudy once again leads the Wolves in Net Rating....by a lot. It's so disappointing how dependent we are on old paddle hands, but he continues to be the most impactful player on the team during the regular season.
