- I highlighted in green career highs and in red career lows.
- Every player has a positive net rating.
- Ant, Jaden, and Naz are all entering their prime, so it's not surprising they are hitting career high production/win shares. Not everyone keeps improving into their mid-20s (see Bam Adebayo). Jaden's shooting, Ant's mid-range game, and Naz's improved defense and rebounding (still not great, but it is improved) are all tangible improvements we see with our own eyes.
- Joan and Bones with impressive numbers, BUT keep in mind they play the fewest minutes and are usually out there against the weakest opponent lineups (early 2nd quarters in particular).
- Conley at a career low in production. While PER doesn't account well for things like defense and organizing an offense, it definitely reflects a deterioration in other skills, as he's always been well into the double-digits on PER.

Here is the 50-game update.
PER - Very much individual box-score driven and rewards volume more than efficiency. Doesn't really account for defense. This tends to reward higher usage offensive players and guys that get lots of counting stats.
WS/48 - Combines individual box-score stats with team performance; tends to reward efficiency as much as volume; tries to apportion team performance to individual players, so a great team defense for example tends to lift all boats (or weight them down if the defense is poor).
VORP - Value over Replacement Player. This extrapolates from box score stats and takes into account actual minutes played, so it helps recognize that starters have to carry a bigger load.
Net Rating - Team points per 100 possessions minus opponent points per 100 possessions while player is on the floor, per NBA.com.
Player (in order of total minutes played) - PER/WS48/VORP/Net Rating
Randle - 20.3/.173/2.1/+5.2
Rudy - 17.5/.184/1.1/+7.2
DDV - 13.7/.123/1.5/+8.1
Jaden - 14.0/.119/.7/+6.1
Ant - 22.5/.166/2.5/+4.6
Naz - 17.2/.134/1.5/+4.8
Conley - 9.2/.094/.1/+1.3
Clark - 9.7/.093/-0.1/+6.5
Bones - 14.2/.124/.4/+11.0
Joan - 18.7/.193/.1/+11.0

Bones - 14.2/

Joan - 18.7/.193/.1/+11.0
I'm not going to go back and re-read all the preseason threads, but I'm pretty sure most of us predicted Bones and Joan would lead the team in net rating, and Ant would be 9th (only ahead of Conley).

Pretty small sample size for those two guys, but it's certainly better than being negative!
