Tyler Metcalf
@tmetcalf11
Timberwolves just grabbed one of the best shooters in this draft in Isaiah Evans. Love how much his game has grown the last couple years and how he comes into the league with an elite skill.

A couple notes on what the Timberwolves really like with Isaiah Evans:
Movement shooting, improved on closeouts. They think he can develop into a plus defender as his body fills out given his activity level. Also big fans of his personality.

"as his body fills out"
he's literally the same size and frame as Corey Brewer.

Spot on. Perfect spot for Isaiah Evans to land. Won't surprise me if Chris Finch actually gives him minutes! Evans fills exactly what they're missing without DDV.
John Fanta
Situations matter that much more in the second round of the NBA Draft. Isaiah Evans is heading to a franchise that’s certainly in win-now mode and with Donte DiVincenzo’s injury situation, there’s going to be opportunities for the Duke product to contribute off the bench.

What's the story with Vesaar?

Good question. He was supposed to be off the board a long time ago. Must be something behind the scenes that the general public doesn’t know.

Brett Siegel
@BrettSiegelNBA
SOURCE: Henri Veesaar's agency is guiding him to a certain team, and teams before them are willing to pass on him.
He has a promise later in the draft.
hmmm maybe us at 59?

Tobi Lawal is a guy I would have liked - not necessarily at #33 but I would have taken him here if we had this pick. He reminds me a big of the Greek Freak at a very basic level.

Probably the Lakers, but if they passed me up at 24, to hell with them

Honestly if Corey Brewer was even an average 3 point shooter he would have been a pretty good player.

The Bucks just bought the #60 pick from Orlando for cash. We might have to buy #58 to make sure we get the next Russian NBA superstar.
