One of Farley, Surtain and Horn is guaranteed to be there at the Vikes pick. I'm concerned Zimmers Cb hubris comes into play here. There are Olineman sure to be there with BPA tags. Unless trade ups are in the works they can't afford to wait on talent for a couple rounds to find Olineman. There's a reason the Oline hasn't come together. It's because they always think they can find one in later rounds. But recent history proves otherwise. Sullivan was a long time ago!

Any OTA news? (Pork what did you think about our draft? I can't complain about the help we got on OL)

Jake Browning is tearing it up out there. We may have another Kyle Sloter situation on our hands.

It's fun/weird seeing a #7 flying around as a DB.

Ok other than the first joke about Browning and a comment on Patrick Peterson's number I don't really have anything.

I think yesterday I counted 79 guys on their roster via Vikings.com website but of course they could still add a few players but right now its not hard to pick out 20 guys/ specialist positions that won't make it leaving a handful of roster spots up for a fight. Of course there will be at least one guy that will surprise and at least one that will disappoint and not make the roster plus possible injuries. I'm somewhat weirdly excited about having preseason games again.

I like preseason games and seeing young players. I try to get out to one each year because they are cheap and we get to see some different guys. Plus for me when I am in person it certainly is less about the game and more about the experience.

I saw Hunter is not at OTA's. I am kind of perplexed at being made about a contract when you just sat out a year and got paid.

Not everyone goes to OTAs. Obviously in this case it's still concerning he isn't there but I'm not freaking out yet either. There are plenty of guys that can use those reps and coaching. There are quite a few guys vying for DE spots. Ultimately with Hunter until there is some actual news about him I'm just assuming everything is fine. I don't think he is going to want to leave the Vikings after they added another legit DT to the line.

Shocking...not really. Also may not mean anything significant.

I would kind of laugh if Diggs was not happy again. Any interest in Julio Jones on this team?

I would be happy with bringing in Geno less than 2M.

The interior of that DL last year might have been as bad as the Vikings interior Oline spots plus the pass rush on the outside was poor too. I was expecting more from some of the younger players last year because it was such a disaster maybe there is more here than we saw. Still other than the 2 starters right now I don't have a lot of confidence in anyone behind them. I do like some of the young players but I also feel justified in my skepticism so signing a guy like Atkins makes sense. Like you said he might come even cheaper than the 3.5 million that was suggested.
